This spring I will be teaching a permanent makeup class at at the Beauty and Health Institute off of Country way out in the Westchase area. The class is for people interested in learning permanent makeup skills and getting their license.
- SoftTap application method
- Safe and effective permanent makeup techniques
- Creating permanent eyebrows
- Creating permanent eyeliner
- Practice on live models
- What to know for license exam
In my lectures we also watch videos on best practices and proper techniques. My students start practising on grapefruit then begin performing on live models as skills develop.
To become licensed along with this course you have to achieve a passing score on your blood pathogens and communicable disease test.
The SofTap Method
There are a couple different methods to choose from when doing permanent makeup. My choice of method is the SofTap Permanent Cosmetics method becuase it is the most natural way to look your best. SofTap is performer by hand method, we use 100% disposable hand tools to gently and delicately implant permanent color into the skin, no machines are used during this very natural, very controlled procedure.
Numbing cream is placed on the skin before we begin the procedure for increased client comfort. The SofTap method is non-invasive, highly controlled, and produces the most natural looks you will ever see in permanent makeup.*
This method can create anything from a soft, virtually undetectable beauty enhancement to a complete reconstruction of missing eyebrows. Permanent eyeliner is gentle, long lasting, and permanent lips are soft and full, complete with lip liner if clients choose that option. The end results are so natural that clients will be pleasantly surprised.
